Dedicated by Mayor Lew Davis in April of 1965, the Value Village opened its doors.
In 1968, Beacon's Volunteers held the first of many fashion shows to raise money for programs, modeling clothing from Value Village.
Through a rough economy in 1973, Beacon continued their programs from funds raised solely through the Thrift Store.
In 1979, Value Village had grown to become one of the most respected Thrift Stores in Arizona.
Today, the Thrift Store has more than 40 employees and clients serving our Tucson Community.
